Azure Cloud and Copilot Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on cloud engineer who can provision and operate Microsoft cloud environments and help customers adopt Copilot. You will turn technical requirements into documented, supportable environments and stay involved after setup to manage access, reliability and operating costs. You will work with customer administrators, ERP consultants, integration engineers and AI developers. Your core responsibility is platform readiness and operations, including Microsoft 365 Copilot enablement and Copilot Studio administration. You can explain what was provisioned, why access was granted, how an issue will be detected and what the environment costs to operate.

What you’ll do

• Provision Azure resources for development, test and production with documented access, capacity and cost
• Automate setup with PowerShell, Azure CLI and infrastructure as code such as Bicep or Terraform
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID groups, roles, app registrations and managed identities with least privilege
• Configure monitoring, alerts, backup and recovery, and review usage and cost anomalies
• Assess tenant readiness, run Microsoft 365 Copilot pilots and support adoption with business owners
• Set up Power Platform environments, connector policies and Copilot Studio publishing and promotion
• Support D365 sandbox provisioning with the D365 technical team
• Keep inventories, environment diagrams and operating instructions current

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on Azure administration, Microsoft Entra ID, networking and production troubleshooting
• Azure Portal, PowerShell or Azure CLI, monitoring, backup and documented change execution
• Working familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
• Practical exposure to Copilot enablement or Power Platform administration
• Clear communication of customer impact, and incidents followed through to resolution

Nice to have

• Copilot Studio, SharePoint administration or Microsoft Purview
• Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault or Azure DevOps
• D365 environments and infrastructure as code
• Azure Administrator or other relevant Microsoft certification
